The realm is vast and full of wonders. At every turn, a new delight awaits for the eager eye, and much that is tantalizing in its unfamiliarity. Perhaps with so little to see within, the mind is best pleased to seek without; perhaps by walking its length and breadth, a foreign place might become a home.

To impose would be unforgivable, yet I would be glad for the presence of another with me on the road: for the sake of guidance and safety, as well as for the pleasure of company. Stellaris: if one should be find to serve as guide, your presence alongside us would be very welcome.

The list of positions remains a puzzle; all seem equally fascinating. I must not have gotten very much done, in another life.

I am finding that I have no particular inclination; all things appear worthy. How can one who has no concrete goal make any progress?

I told my brother something similar:

There's Medical if you think you can heal people or take care of them, especially when the shit's hitting the fan.

There's adventuring if you're fine with going off on your own to explore, but you gotta report back to somebody & tell 'em about it. Not what I advise newborns to do.

There's a bunch of shops you could work for... it'd be hard to summarize them. Walk the bazaar for 5 minutes and you'll see.

There's Crops and Livestock if you can work well with plants & animals. That's on Captain Planet, where my first brother works.

There's working with the journals & paper. If you like poetry and writing and stuff, you may like that. Moon works there.

There's Housekeeping if you like keeping stuff clean. Or Maintenance & Sanitation for like... REALLY clean. Scrubbing and repairing and stuff. I started work at Maintenance, but I'm happy to be in the Guard now.

You could also do Guard or Watch if you think you can handle yourself in a fight or help with investigations.
